3月1日（日）外国人児童13人と日本人児童15人が小牧警察署と岐阜かかみがはら航空宇宙博物館を訪問し、警察の仕事や宇宙について楽しく学ぶ一日となりました。小牧警察署では交通安全などのお話とパトカーやミニ白バイの見学・乗車を体験しました。パトカーの装備や役割について説明を受け、子どもたちは目をキラキラさせながら話を聞いていました。質問タイムでは、警察官の方が一つひとつ丁寧に答えてくださり、仕事の大切さや責任についても知ることができました。昼食は神戸クック・ワールドビュッフェへ。世界各国の料理が並び、「これ何？」「おいしい！」と会話も弾みました。食を通して、いろいろな国の文化にふれる楽しい時間になりました。午後は紙飛行機づくりに挑戦。作った飛行機を実際に飛ばしながら、どうすれば遠くまで飛ぶか工夫する姿が印象的でした。館内見学ではロケットや宇宙の展示に興味津々。宇宙への関心をさらに深める時間となりました。今回のツアーは、社会を支える仕事を知り、科学や宇宙への興味を広げる、学びいっぱいの一日となりました。

On Sunday, March 1, 13 international children and 15 Japanese children visited the Komaki Police Station and the Gifu Kakamigahara Aerospace Museum, making it a fun and educational day to learn about police work and space.

At the Komaki Police Station, they listened to a talk about traffic safety and had the opportunity to see and ride in a patrol car and a mini police motorcycle. They received explanations about the equipment and roles of patrol cars, and the children listened with sparkling eyes. During the Q&A session, the police officers kindly answered each question, helping the children understand the importance and responsibility of their work.

For lunch, they went to Kobe Cook World Buffet. A variety of international dishes were served, and conversations flowed with comments like “What is this?” and “It’s delicious!” It was a fun time experiencing different cultures through food.

In the afternoon, the children challenged themselves to make paper airplanes. It was impressive to see them testing their planes and thinking about how to make them fly farther.

During the museum tour, they showed great interest in rockets and space exhibits, deepening their curiosity about space.

This tour became a day full of learning, where the children discovered jobs that support society and expanded their interest in science and space.
